We are going for a walk in the sunshine ☀️My husband is recovering really well and is able to walk using his walking stick with confidence. I'm so proud of him❤️ He has been through the mill these past few months but he's getting back to himself again each day🥰 #strokesurvivor

@Simon_Treasure That's so sad. I feel very lucky my husband survived 2 strokes and is still mentally himself and can look after himself.

@Br0wnEyedGirl__ Yes it’s the best way! Unfortunately I was caring for my terminally ill wife , 3 years of seeing her fade away from the vibrant person you met , fell in love with and married, it’s heartbreaking and physically and mentally exhausting! I suffered 18 months of mental health issues

@Simon_Treasure I lost my darling Lottie 2 Years ago- she was everything ❤️ so I know what you mean. She was 15 . Lily, her sister, is 19 in June!

For those grieving their mum. 19 years and still miss her like a missing limb 😞 For those who lost babies. For those who wanted children and it never happened. And for those of us who just… didn’t want them. Also valid. Cats optional but recommended. Happy Mother’s Day 💖

@NoLongerTheFuzz It has been, I’m slowly getting there. I’m 61. They help, tho the one that really helped passed away last July he was 14

@Simon_Treasure Bless you that's rough - my mum died of cancer at 52,i was just early 20's. My dad told me on the phone when I was on my way to work at the police station. Your beautifuk cats have helped you through, I'm sure x

@NoLongerTheFuzz Thank you 🙏 my wife was only 55 , cancer took them both ! Been a rough few years, caring for her, going going through 18 months of mental health issues and counselling. On a brighter note my 2 year old siblings and my 10 year old

I can’t believe I’m writing this 😢my beautiful mum passed away on Monday morning peacefully.She was in her own home with me at her side.She was 97 and had battled dementia and other medical issues. I am heartbroken 💔 Will be taking a small break from social media…….
