All I wish for is the extra Champions league money gets spent on our squad . We still need 4 to 5 players to reach the next level.

🚨🆕 Galatasaray want to make headlines again with spectacular transfers in the summer. The focus is primarily on a No. 10 and a No. 6. Gala were already interested in Bruno Fernandes in the last transfer window. He was and still is the ultimate dream target. They want to get in contact with his camp again, but do not see realistic chances, as Fernandes can play Champions League football with Manchester United. #MUFC @SkySportDE 🇹🇷🤝🇵🇹

@City_Xtra United’s owners are hated for a reason and so are city’s. United’s by there own fans and city’s by rivals. Big difference in club structure. That’s why leverage buy outs are now banned.

@City_Xtra This is when state wealth actually comes into fixing every nook and cranny possible. Nobody can really complete only the other state owned clubs. Every other owner is trying to make a profit but City’s owners just want influence. Ticket prices would be cheap as chips without PSR

Pep Guardiola on what makes #ManCity so good: “The player care department, for example. I don't know if it exists in other clubs, this department is unbelievable. You need something for the family, send flowers to your mum, whatever, always they can help, we do that. "The food is exceptional, cooks are top. My CEO, my chairman, in the day of the game, they're there, supporting all the time. It's a big club, but it’s a family. "After that, there are disappointments, especially play [time]. But the only I say to the club, ‘Try the players to be disappointed because they don't play, not for the rest’. The rest, no one can complain. No one. They don't complain. If they're unhappy because they don't play, that’s normal, understandable, it's impossible. Talking here, talking to your wife, girlfriends, what they need in their personal lives, families when they come, how they care when family is here, mothers and fathers, aunts or whoever, how everything is sorted - there’s much more. "Another one: in Covid time. How many all around the world, in clubs, how many people were fired? Here, not even once. The same salary, no reduction. The same. In the toughest moment in our lives, always there, not even once in that building and the other was out - the same. "Many examples. It's really, really good. Extraordinary club..." [via @HaytersTV]

@Slamban9066 @SkySportsNews Definitely a foul with today’s VAR. At the end of the day it’s a nice little double over last season’s champions. I’ll take it

@FPLfrasier The Glazers don’t get involved in football matters anymore so id expect something similar to last season. Targeting actual team improvement. Cm will be the priority and they will try to get by in other areas if possible. I’d also expect quite a few under 18 signings.

The minimum wage is around £26,000. The state pension is £11,000. And the elite talk about the triple lock? We expect our pensioners, who can't typically work, to live on less than half of the minimum wage. It is outrageous and cruel in my view. #skynews #gbnews #bbcnews

@henrywinter Kudos to the premier league eh Henry. Maybe you should delve deeper into sports washing leveraged buy outs and Russian oil arch’s. The game went years ago and the problem is we don’t have proper journalism anymore reporting it.

Game’s lost its way, time-wasting, fouls, bookings, subs. Perfect for Chelsea. Killed Leeds' momentum. #CHELEE

So a club can sell its hotel to itself, sell its women’s team to itself, but West Brom are punished, they believe, for legitimate “in-kind” donations to the Albion Foundation, its charity partner that saves lives. Albion also believe the alleged PSR breach is “less than £2m”

The UK full new state pension is £11,973 a year. The poverty line for a single adult is around £14,500. You'll work 50 years paying into a system that, by its own definition, retires you straight into poverty.

Thoughtful gesture from Bryan Mbeumo on the walk into Carrington. He was driving out, stopped for autographs and selfies and then got out of his car to have a picture with a fan in a wheelchair. Got a round of applause from waiting fans. #mufc

@Mike87_United Carrick may not be the long term answer…but give him 3 midfielders of high calibre in the summer and he might have more control of a football game.

What the Carrick fans don’t seem to be able to grasp is the legitimate concern at the standard of football that’s being served up. As an interim it doesn’t really matter and just going “but we won bro” is fine. But if it becomes permanent that won’t wash. It’s a major problem.

@jdot_bizzle @georgegalloway @ChelseaFC He admitted corruption to get the control he had. It is what it is, he was a great owner for Chelsea fans and put a team on the verge of bankruptcy at the top of Europe. I’d prefer him to Malcolm Glazer at United obviously but there both just as bad but in different ways 👌

@Simonbptn @georgegalloway @ChelseaFC * The loans-for-shares scheme was legal at the time under Russian law * However, it’s widely criticised as being deeply unfair and politically manipulated * A small group of businessmen (later called “oligarchs”) gained control of major state assets at extremely low prices
