Overjoyed to see @DantedatDixon of @PHTrojansFB take home the inaugural Andre Maloney Award as the KC Metro's most outstanding defensive back! This is EXACTLY the type of player this honor was created for. Like Andre, Dante has been a highlight reel on both sides of the ball, beyond his lockdown talents in coverage. And, like Andre, he's always shown a healthy mix of a fiery, competitive attitude with respect and humility, going as far as sending postseason thank-yous to those in the area who have covered, recognized and/or supported his career as a Trojan. Undersized and under recruited but always positive in his strive to MiB (Make it BIG)! Confident he'll be a proud ambassador of this @SimoneAwards award for years to come. 👏
