The CIES - International Centre for Sports Studies study reveals an uncomfortable truth: Italy is the worst league among Europe's top 5 in terms of average head coach tenure. 🇮🇹 Serie A: 10.9 months average tenure — 75% of head coaches in their role for less than a year. 🇮🇹 Serie B: 7.6 months — 90% of head coaches replaced in the past 12 months. The introduction of effective playing time could represent a step forward, but on its own it does not fully solve the issue: frequent stoppages continue to break the flow and momentum of the game. An interesting innovation introduced by @cesc4official in @Como_1907 recent matches concerns their goal-kick setup. The Spanish coach leaves only 2 players — in addition to the goalkeeper — in the first build-up zone, pushing 8 players higher up the pitch. This innovative choice, which deliberately reduces the number of build-up players, aims to facilitate playing out from the back, especially against teams that defend with man-to-man marking.
