Today I'm faster and better at creating content than yesterday. And just like the repetitions that are guiding my body recomposition process, putting in the reps to make good videos is working.

Building a UGC brand, IMO, means using every day as a learning opportunity to improve pitching, research, scripting, filming, editing, delivering. I'm showing up even on the days the deals aren't.

Haven't landed a brand deal since May. Kept pitching anyway. 4th month in. This is when I'd normally quit. When silence starts feeling like an answer. Checking an inbox that doesn't reply. Wondering if it's the portfolio, the niche, or just me. Nobody posts about this part. The stretch where nothing's happening and you still have to believe something is. I'm still here. Still worth it. Still building.

Hot take from an American UGC creator living abroad: If you want to create content that resonates with Americans, shoot it in your car. If you want to create content that resonates with the rest of the world, shoot it while walking.

My first 90 minutes on any new account. Before I write a word of strategy. 1. Count the active ads, then ask why that number exists. 40+ running at once usually means nobody owns creative direction. 2. Sort by launch date and look for the copy-paste. If today looks identical to six months ago, the team went blind to their own creative. 3. Watch only the first 2 seconds of every video. Hooks only. Does it interrupt, or does it open on a logo and a font I've seen 400 times. 4. Map the angles, not the variations. Most brands have 30 ads and 2 angles and think they're testing. 5. Screenshot the weakest hook in the library. That screenshot leads the debrief. Targeting the specific thing costing money makes everything else land immediately.

@artfully_amberr I think that works great if the content is for unaware and problem-aware viewers. But some content is for the solution-aware or product-aware folks so you can remind them why the product or service is the right one for them.

I've started asking myself one question before almost every edit. "If I knew nothing about this product, would this still make sense?" It's a simple question, but it catches so many moments where I've assumed the viewer already knows something. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity
