🎓 Class of 2025 🎓 Yesterday, I proudly stood at the Trent Lott Leadership Institute’s medaling ceremony as a member of the graduating class of 2025 and I got to shake Senator Trent Lott’s hand. What a full-circle moment! After everything I’ve been through- addiction, incarceration, and rebuilding my life piece by piece there’s one thing I’ve never had taken from me: My education 📚 Even when I lost almost everything else, I held onto learning like it was oxygen. Because it was. Education gave me purpose when I felt like I had none. It gave me a voice when I was silenced. And now it is giving me options when the world said I wouldn’t have any.
