West Bengal PWD already on ground for restoration works as BJP plans to move state secretariat back to iconic British-era Writers' Building in Kolkata's BBD Bag from Nabanna in Howrah. The 18-storied building in Howrah was built by Left Front govt for a proposed garments' park.

Is the Trinamool talking about democracy? After multiple threats and provocative statements by party leaders, including Abhishek Banerjee, a natural question arises--will there be any accountability? In last year's post-poll violence, more than 300 workers were killed and there were multiple allegations of rape. Had the election results gone the other way this year, the situation could have been even more severe.
