@probablyalissa It sometimes feels like there's this odd pressure to *make* the entire medium of pinball be Old, so that it can become a safe haven for a certain kind of dude to be a jerk. Folks in forums talking like *everyone* in the hobby is 40+ and kinda hate their wife.

@Lanathekitkat Forcing is never a viable longterm solution. You have to create a rhythm and environment where forcing isn't required. It's part of why SFW writers do the coffee shop thing so much.

@SmutStrut Real talk, the AI art I see spammed onto places like Pixiv just does not seem to penetrate at all. People just don't seem to care, even when it's pouring into otherwise obscure interests and fetishes that don't get much attention otherwise.

i cant help but feel like I'm wasting my time trying to get better at art nowadays. AI art is pretty quickly catching up to artists, as expected, and like, i just feel like im spending a lot of valuable time practicing a skill that nobody is gonna value within a decade or so

@LeafTilde Yeahhh. It's...Like, they're probably not as bad in a vacuum, but there's definitely people at Riot who crossed lines, and more folks who came from Blizzard and were there when lines were crossed at that company, so...Yeahhhh. It's a mess. And I'm very tired.
