Words quickly come back on you. Now you have an accountability situation when a player didn't hustle and stood at homeplate to watch a ball hit off the wall. Then the player was thrown out at 2nd base and cost the team a challenge.

Accountability. To me, it starts simply with showing you care. Allowing players to jog to 1st base is the equivalent of saying "I've given up." 🙄

Two years later…
Dylan Crews not making the opening day roster for the #Nats is incredibly disappointing.
Jeff Passan now has Wyatt Langford as a potential top five MVP candidate for the upcoming season.

Wyatt Langford has been the best hitter on the Rangers this spring. Dylan Crews is currently 4 for 26 with a .659 OPS. Between last season’s Double-A numbers and this spring… any other #Nats fans getting a little bit nervous the Nationals made a draft mistake?

News: Dan Kolko will succeed Bob Carpenter doing play-by-play on Nationals broadcasts this year, according to multiple people familiar with the decision. Kolko filled in regularly for Carpenter last year and has been a part of Nats coverage in various roles since 2012.
