3 days, 2 schools, 1 mission - working together to design and create prototype @Makedo boats worthy of entry into the #Linlithgow Canal annual cardboard boat race! Yes - humans in cardboard boats, racing! 🤣 Success…and P4-7 from @AvonbridgePS @DrumbowiePS even managed…

Day 2 with P4-7 @AvonbridgePS at @DrumbowiePS. Children progressed from yesterday's origami instructions to designing and building the basic shapes of their own prototype boats. Creativity and collaboration continued despite the rising classroom temperature! 🥵

Ahoy there! A very productive project launch with P4-7 @AvonbridgePS and @DrumbowiePS as they begin their voyage to becoming marine engineers and boat builders 🚣. Taking a risk, showing resilience and encouragement were in evidence as they helped each other make origami boats.

Thank you to the lovely member of staff at Avonbridge Primary School who just welcomed us in to set up for tomorrow! It’s wonderful to be back in #Falkirk after several years! We’re really looking forward to this mini-project with P4-7! @AvonbridgePS @DrumbowiePS 🤩
