The original post means the optional BIP39 passphrase (often called a "password" or 25th word). That is separate from the seed phrase. Seed phrase = the 12 or 24 recovery words. Passphrase = extra secret you choose; same seed + different passphrase = entirely different wallet. Multisig and dice-generated entropy are other advanced security steps.
