@MontgomeryToms @samanthagard2 @RestoreBritain_ I’ve been harping on about this for ages. It would restore community spirit, sense of purpose for those out of work and would make a big difference to this country.. It would also create jobs as it would need to be organised and managed.

We need to clean our streets, countrysides, cities and towns! People taking from the taxpayer and refusing to work should be picking up litter. There are no easy answers. Britain was built through hard work, not the state fixing all our problems. Self-responsibility needs to be restored.

Our country is filthy - plastered in litter, cans, broken glass, graffiti. It is disgusting. A Restore Britain Government would get the millions of healthy Brits on benefits to pick litter and clean graffiti. Refuse? Lose your benefits. Restoring Britain means cleaning it up.

@Coldblack01 @basedandbougie @AntiRacismDay Firstly, the far right doesn’t exist. Secondly, unfortunately you are always going to have bad actors and racist people. I really look up to BasedandBougie as someone who is black shows the hypocrisy and stands up for common sense against the virtue social justice signallers.

@RupertLowe10 @MadJackFleming As usual they never have the data, what are these departments actually doing? All of this needs to be backed up by data and not just going along day to day, no wonder we are in a mess. Thank you as a businessman to question it!

I've been questioning the Ministry of Housing on the proportion of social housing tenants who have lived in the UK for under a year... The response? "My Department does not hold data on what proportion of social housing tenants have lived in the UK for any period of time." Woeful. How can the Government not hold this data? I want to know exactly how many foreigners who have just arrived in Britain are currently in social housing. Is that so outrageous? To even ask for the figures? Restore Britain's policy position is clear. British social housing for British families.

@decorativeartt She should be made an example of, but again nothing will be done as we are a two tiered country. How this is allowed is ridiculous?

Good afternoon, Zarah Sultana. How very revealing. “Abolish the monarchy.” One does so admire the sheer, treasonous audacity of a sitting MP who swore a solemn oath of allegiance to His Majesty King Charles III, only to openly call for the complete destruction of the Crown she is paid by the British taxpayer to serve. You are not simply disloyal. You are a dangerous, malignant enemy within. A second-generation immigrant who has been handed every privilege this country could offer now works methodically to erase its oldest and most sacred institution. You fly foreign flags, cheer foreign causes, and spit on British history while sitting in a British Parliament and drawing a British salary. You are a clear and present danger to the stability, identity, and future of this nation. The British public sees you clearly now, Zarah Sultana, a radical activist who despises everything that makes Britain British. You have no place in the governance of this country and you must be removed from Parliament immediately and held fully to account. You are not a representative of the people. You are a threat to the people. Britain First. No Surrender. 🦁🇬🇧

@zarahsultana You swear in as an MP to the crown and king, but you write this tripe. Especially after your incitement over the weekend. You should be removed from government altogether, you are a disgrace!

@iamskoppe @prinkasusa I’ve never heard of this phrase, but it describes me perfectly. I’m always saying things like if they dropped nukes tomorrow, I don’t care or if I didn’t wake up, I’m good either way. Thank you for this!

In my entire adult life I dont think I've ever experienced an economic boom in the UK. Graduated a few years after the 2008 financial crisis, and ever since then it's been either economic stagnancy or recession. I would love to see what an optimistic, booming economy looks like.

@shabaneho @Ryandally08 Even more so, there shouldn’t be Islamic schools in the UK, which is a Christian country. Although I don’t agree with any faith schools.

A hijab-wearing teacher leads young children in reciting Islamic phrases like “Bismillah" before activities and “Alhamdulillah" afterward. Should this be taught in English speaking Public Primary schools? Is it a form of early indoctrination?

To many in the UK, this feels like a necessary correction to a period of perceived government overreach that has severely strained the relationship between the public and the authorities. For years, the recording of NCHIs, incidents that fall below the criminal threshold but are logged based on a complainant's perception of hostility and became a symbol of what many Brits called thought policing. The erosion of trust in the Police and the Home Office hasn't happened in a vacuum. A significant portion of the public perceives a disparity in how different groups or viewpoints are policed. The Home Office's previous expansions into digital surveillance and the use of technologies like Live Facial Recognition have made many feel that the state is more interested in monitoring law-abiding citizens than catching active criminals. NCHIs appear on Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks. This meant a person could lose a job or be barred from a profession for an incident that wasn't even a crime. The Home Secretary’s announcement today suggests a return to common sense policing. We don't want a police force that's our moral arbiter. We want a police force that's our protector. If someone breaks my window, I want an officer at my door, not in my comment section. This policy shift is an attempt to salvage the peelian principles of policing. The idea that the power of the police comes from common consent and public approval, rather than state imposed social monitoring. #HomeOffice #NCHIs
Home Office@ukhomeoffice

Police time will no longer be wasted investigating legal social media posts, freeing up officers to patrol the streets and tackle real crime. By scrapping Non‑Crime Hate Incidents, we are balancing the protection of vulnerable communities while respecting free speech.

@SirAshbless @Sandy_Bart @TheNorfolkLion Stop talking a load of utter shite. In Glasgow it's coming up to marching season and they'll be free to celebrate the Irish Republican Army blowing the English up this year like they did last year and the year before that. That's Christians, not Muslims. Dickhead.

Emily’s turned off comments, presumably because people are asking why we should have to subsidise low paid workers and their families from abroad when already the welfare budget is too high? Or perhaps it is the bit where she contradicts herself, because if these migrants are all essential and highly skilled, why do they need state hand outs?
Emily Thornberry@EmilyThornberry

Half of all migrant children currently live in poverty - an already shameful statistic. But the Earned Settlement model will see that poverty prolonged for 90,000 children in working migrant families. That's why my community says the Government must think again.

@ExSyde @sogilvie82 @ZackPolanski You clearly live in la la land and probably don’t have a job or have paid tax in at all. This is probably why you think rich people are the problem, but got nothing to say about the rising issue in welfare, where they contribute NOTHING to society.
