I’ll tell you something for free. At the highest level of football, there are certain things you cannot fluke. Glasner won the Europa League with Frankfurt, this was a time big teams use to drop from UCL into Europa, so he had to face teams like Barcelona on the way. Still, he won the Europa. He came to Palace, with a small budget compared to the other English teams, he won the FA Cup, the first trophy in Palace’s history, he beat Man City to win it. You can’t fluke that, he’s a winner. He qualified them to Europa by winning the FA Cup , but they dropped to Conference league because of the multi-club ownership saga with Textor. Despite the setback, he has just won an European trophy for a South London club. In 2 years, he has changed a club’s history and won 3 trophies for them if we add the community shield. He did this while losing big players, lost his captain January, lost his best player to Arsenal in summer, lost Olise. This guy is a winner.

24 years old today. 🎉 I can only be grateful to God, because not everybody gets to reach this age. Thank You Lord for my life, for my health, for my family, for the relationship You have given me, for the talents and gifts You entrusted me with, and for every opportunity placed before me. But above all, thank You for my salvation. There were many moments in my life that if it wasn’t for your mercy, I could’ve been gone while still far away from You. Yet Your greatest gift was opening my eyes and allowing me to encounter You in a way that completely changed my life. At 24 years old, I’m truly grateful that I have a relationship with You through the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray for many more years of serving You, growing closer to You, and being there for my family and loved ones. All glory to God🙌🏾❤️🙏🏾

People who showed up today were almost overfed and they made our day. Our item 1 was chin-chin, sweets and cold wine. Then we moved to spicy ram asun with chilled water and maltina. After that, fried ram meat came in different plates for everybody to eat. When they thought it was over, we served jollof rice and fried meat again. And to cap it all, a very hot and spicy assorted ram paper soup with low music in the background. At some point, some of them were saying “egi wants to kill us with food” 😂 Thank you all for showing up. May God lead you to your respective destinations safe. It was a well spent day ♥️

Before you sleep tonight, remember many families celebrated children’s day in pains, because their children are held up by kidnappers in places no one knows. This is our reality. As a father, I know what this means. I’m asking our authorities, is this what you promised us? Are you able to celebrate children’s day with some of the children in pains? I’m just asking ni o. You know what to do. Do it and get the kids back home. It’s the only honorable thing to do. Prove you have humanity in you. Do it. Do it now!

Today is children’s day, but 46 innocent children learning in their classrooms in Ogbomosho, Oyo state were kidnapped by gunmen. It’s been two painful weeks already and these children are still not home with their families, suffering out there in the cold and enduring fear and uncertainty that no child should ever know. This is a National crisis and the government must use every resource necessary to bring these children home. Nothing else matters in this moment. We owe our children a safer country.

Before I joined the club, Pep was already an inspiration for me. To become his player and after 9 years end up being the one with most games played under him is truly an honour. He arrived at Man City, and the Premier League couldn’t be dominated playing his way… Well, they were wrong. Not only he dominated, he changed the game in England as he did in other countries before. The hunger and ambition to want more and more even after winning and winning again was a big inspiration. For me personally, he was and will always be my father of football. A lot of the things that many managers in the past thought were weaknesses of my game, he saw it as strengths and understood me from day one. On a personal level, the kindness, trust and respect that we had for each other makes me the proudest and goes beyond football. I couldn’t be more grateful for what he did for me and my family. Thank you for all the memories and experiences to the greatest manager ever Pep Guardiola! 😄

Miserable children’s day. Over 40 still missing in Oyo. Kidnappers getting richer by the day - because our government allow children to be tortured and then reward the criminals with handsome ransom payments. Citizens carrying on like we are not already in a battle for our lives.
