I did a p2p transaction today on Bybit and the buyer’s transfer failed. i already sent all requested proofs to the p2p appeal specialist but i’m still being told the appeal “can’t be processed to the next stage at the moment.”

Gee, you should try @Gate P2P. From personal experience, I don't experience anything of this sort. It has been smooth and seamless so far and they have responsive customer service too. I hope you get your money brah
