Awesome news! Roblox has lowered the 800 Robux fee to upload and publish 2D clothing to just 90 Robux! While it is more expensive than originally, it's a huge compromise on their part to listen to us and lower the cost to about 10% of what they initially said! W Roblox

@weasel4308 Sadly there comes to a point of acceptance that not everything will or can remain the same.
I'm just thankful it's a lot less than the initial proposed price.

@plasma_node Doesn't seem physics- or collision-based. So this probably could be recreated in Roblox, as most of the lag would stem from collisions

You can tell Roblox REALLY wants to remove R6 and Classic clothing, but can't
R6 - You now get paid WAY more to make games in R15 (given for 18+ verified users)
Classic Clothing - Now costs 800 Robux to create and sell
Their plan is to push people away, not remove them.

If they want to appeal to more people off platform, and someone looks in game and sees a generic R6 character. They may not like the stylization.
It's why studios are ramaking animated films into live action. Realism sells.

@SirDapper I'm not even really sure what the point is because there's hardly any greater of an incentive to make 3D Accessories, so much for creativity I guess
