@DaveTradesOpts Very cool! Next in line would be a geothermal heat pump. We just got pne drilled last summer. Don’t know if that’s a thing in the US, but it’s great in combination with solar power and you are done with oil.

Just finished installing a $40,000 solar system on my house to take my home completely off of the electrical grid dependence. When you make money, spend it on things that will last for the years to come. $TSLA

@KingVelesI How is the area around Sunj? I see a lot of large places for sale there and rather cheap. I've never been myself, so I only have pictures for reference. Love what you are doing by the way. You strike a cord in me...

"How much does it cost to keep your homestead running?" Nothing. That's the major advantage of hardcore, primitive homesteading — there are no operating costs. Yes, you might periodically spend money on buying livestock and farm upgrades, but the role of such (optional) investments is to speed up the growth of your farm, not to merely keep it running. At the outset, while you're still setting your system up, you likely will occasionally spend some money to save yourself time and work — you might buy a bag of chicken feed, a few bales of hay, or pay for a vet visit for a sick animal that you'd just cull and eat if you had enough stock. Using small amounts of money to efficiently address some "growing pains" can be smart, but if the fully developed system is dependent on constant financial input BY DESIGN, that's a problem. The very point of an "extremist" homestead, in our minds, is to provide a family with all the necessities of life independently of the outside world, and a homestead that requires constant financial inputs to function obviously can't do that.

@Natie2Natie I‘ve been living in Shenzhen and Liuzhou (Guangxi) for the last 5 years. My in inlaws live in Laibin and Putao (Yangshuo). I like the Chinese countryside, but what you posted is not how it actually looks and you know that as well.

@ShangguanJiewen @shorris You would gain so much more credibility by posting a bit more neutral. The propaganda is nausiating at times tbh. I live in China, I see the good and bad. Why not report it as it truly is? China is not an open air prison, but it‘s also not all like Futian…

@shorris It's precisely what's necessary when all of US media is praising the US system and denigrating China's. I will continue to bring balance by showing my American brothers and sisters what they are not being shown. If you don't like it, mute me.

I am a US citizen with friends and family in the US, and a permanent resident of China with friends and family in China. From California, I now live in Beijing. I am also a radio show host, whose show 'The Bridge to China’ seeks to act as a conduit to promote understanding and facilitate friendship between the people of the USA and the people of China. Each week, I interview economists, academics, and just regular Chinese and Western folks about this relationship. Almost all of them have noted that people-to-people exchanges are the foundation of understanding. The United States, under the current political administration ‘will being revoking visas of Chinese students.’ This is the singular most unfriendly and unpeaceful action I’ve seen the US take against China in my lifetime. This is a recipe for escalating a lack of understanding, where, even US based ‘experts’ as a rule (with a very small handful of exceptions [who are largely ignored]) already do NOT understand China, whatsoever. I am ashamed of the behavior of the USA, and retain some sliver of hope that this attempt, to cut our two peoples from befriending one another, can be undone by some mechanism in the future. Several concerns arise out of this hateful action. The first is that our people’s friendship is undermined. Additionally, that US university and scientific centers will fall into international disrepute and the US will fall further behind in science. Also, that Americans will be more reliant on a media, which already acts as an echo chamber of hostility, mistrust, misinformation, and even hostile racist anger towards China. And, that this is part of a larger, politically orchestrated and intentional plan to create the conditions for conflict. This last concern is most dreadful. With the US’ decade long, failed, attempts at economic ‘decoupling’ being pursued by US China-hawks, together with a looming drop in people-to-people exchanges, those intent on summoning Ares are more likely to do so. Thus, with eyes wide, fellow lovers of peace, I beseech you: watch carefully for the coming of a false-flag. And stand staunchly on the side of peace, no matter the heated phrasing and emotional displays of affectation. We, lovers of peace, are approaching dangerous waters. Gird yourselves, with truth and love, against those who would make hate and war. #China #USA #Peace

@coolbgdog What’s the reason for setting the limit there? For me it was either entry at 773 based off of the 1m (also in a bullish HTF POI) or then later take the inside bar trade.

I honestly put in about 40% of effort at work, the other 60% is trading. Seeing the amounts that can be made within minutes trading futures, forex and options is crazy. This move would've taken 10 minutes for $396, risking $56. My job is second priority seeing this lol.
