I received with sadness the heartbreaking news of the passing of young and talented Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, whose death has left the Nigerian entertainment industry and millions of admirers across the country mourning.
On behalf of myself and everyone who values the immense contributions of our young creatives to nation-building, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues in Nollywood, and the countless fans whose lives he touched through his craft.
At moments like this, we are reminded once again of the fragility of life and the importance of living with kindness, compassion, and a sense of purpose. Though his journey was cut short, the memories he created and the joy he brought to many through his performances will continue to live on.
I pray that God Almighty grants his family the strength and comfort to bear this painful loss, and may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. -PO

@Sports_Doctor2 It looks like his job description is to criticize Peter Obi, rather than the current government. Pathetic!

@DOlusegun How impressive is his administration back home? How has he impressed with electricity and security?

This is way out of line from Kenneth Okonkwo.
It is reprehensible.
We were laughing at his rants before and generally seeing him as the actor that he is but this is crossing a red line

"Obi or Nothing" is an abomination in Igbo land ~ Kenneth Okonkwo Says he believes Peter Obi would lose the entire South East in 2027 election.

Peter Obi was the vice-presidential candidate to Atiku Abubakar in 2019; he was the one who led Atiku into the campaign in 2019. Then, from nowhere in 2027, after Atiku had brought you [Obi] into national politics, you are now creating the impression with your toxic followers that Atiku is not qualified to be president.

I am looking forward to a time when only Ndigbo will contest for the presidency of Nigeria. 'We are the only people in the South that have not produced a president; they must allow us to produce a president,' says Kenneth Okonkwo.
I am going to make all the necessary alignments to make sure somebody from the South East becomes president or Vice in 2027 and becomes President thereafter, he added.

Excited to see President Bola Ahmed Tinubu warmly received in Kigali, Rwanda by President Paul Kagame ahead of the African CEO Forum 2026, held in partnership with the IFC.
The summit brings together over 2,000 top executives, investors and African leaders focused on shaping the continent’s economic future. President Tinubu’s presence strongly reflects Nigeria’s leadership position in Africa and his continued drive for economic growth, investment and regional cooperation.

My Opposition to NDC’s Registration Not About Peter Obi, But Stopping a National Fraud - Ardo
I reached out to everyone close to Peter Obi and asked them to tell him that if they were considering moving to another party, there are other options available, not the NDC. The issue of how the party was registered remains unresolved. I also met with Kwankwaso and raised the same concerns with him. Despite that, both of them joined the party. Their move has not changed anything — the situation is still as bad as it was.
I have no motive other than to stop what I believe is a national fraud. You cannot come in this way and expect people to vote for you. My opposition to the NDC’s registration is not on behalf of ADA. It’s personal.
