They are the reason why people think we babalawo charge money too much. These people doesn’t make our work easy, they call ridiculous prices for items. Ori osin is 120k imagine just th head of a bird. Ori ekun is 1.2million so if you want to do osole or awure that have it and we ask u to bring 2million you will say ah why that amount u won’t understand that it about the items and price and without big items you won’t see big result. That’s why people say they use things and it didn’t work it because your energy is higher than the medicine u used. You have to do big work to get big result but big work required big items whic requires big money to get .
These people are our enemy they don’t make our work easy

Let me brag small. I have done more for the Yorùbá Indigenous knowledge system than you, your father, your grandfather and your entire lineage.
I have made several videos, written several articles and worked on journals with scholars, where we affirm and put evidence to many of the sayings of our forebearers. The problem is just that people like you don't want to question old knowledge in the presence of new evidence.
The more we have technological advancement, the more we will have tools to study our environment better. Some old sayings will become obsolete while some will be reaffirmed. That's how progressive societies operate. Let me leave you with few links for you to see some of the times where I praised our forebearers for their keen observation and methodologies.

“the person that gave me papers to start theatre was Wole Soyinka, he told us then that anyone of us that perform very well will be admitted to the university, there was no much people that were doing theatre in most of the universities. it was the papers he wrote for the woman that brought me up, she asked how i knew Wole Soyinka and i told her they are from our rehearsal.
ours is like this because, we do traveling theatre, some people are puppet, we have different type of theatre. there’s no where in Nigeria that i’ve not been to, been to Ghana and other African countries too…” - Legendary actress, Lanre Hassan, Iya Awero says at the premiere of Segilola.

Muslim women are not allowed to call the adhan (call to prayer) because Muslim men believe their voices will seduce them and cause fitnah (temptation).
Muslim women must cover their hair because even a single strand can get their men horny.
Muslim women not allowed to wear perfume outside or around non-family men.
It’s shocking that Muhammad couldn’t control himself around women, so he ordered them to wear masquerade-like outfits to hide from the world.
