Recently, CITEZW commissioned a study analyzing the role of disinformation in the August 2023 national and December 2023 by-elections in Zimbabwe. "Our findings reveal interesting views from diverse stakeholders on the effect of disinformation on Zimbabwe’s political and electoral processes. Zimbabwe’s polarised landscape, fused with its insecure political and ethnic landscape, offers productive ground for the spread of disinformation on traditional and social media platforms, which have an increasing number of users. Gov has correctly laid the rules on school uniforms but my issue is why has it allowed schools to hike fees which are paid in USD? Most private schools should be investigated because their fees structure is seemingly structured as a discriminatory measure against blacks.
