GRATITUDE SHOULD NOT CREATE SUCH CONFUSION…🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼 I recently attended an interview at CAPITALK FM and had a WONDERFUL time with the entire team. After the interview, and purely out of APPRECIATION for the hospitality and professionalism shown to me, I asked the General Manager Mr. COMFORT MBOFANA whether I was permitted to give the workers some money for lunch, to which he responded, “YES WITH PLEASURE.” I then asked him how many people were on duty during that particular shift and he advised me there were 30 employees. I GRACIOUSLY offered USD1,000 per person and the GENERAL MANAGER personally escorted me to my car where he received the money on behalf of the staff members. I further requested permission to buy DJ PHATHISANI SIBANDA, who interviewed me, a TOYOTA FORTUNER GD6 and another young lady employee a TOYOTA AQUA, to which he also APPROVED without hesitation. I am therefore PROFOUNDLY SURPRISED to now hear different versions circulating on SOCIAL MEDIA suggesting that there was something improper about a simple act of GRATITUDE towards hardworking Zimbabweans performing NATIONAL SERVICE. As a PATRIOTIC citizen, whenever I visit GOVERNMENT institutions or companies OWNED by the State, I naturally have a SOFT SPOT because I openly and unapologetically support the RULING PARTY, ZANU PF which governs our country. In my humble view, people who dedicate themselves daily towards informing, educating and entertaining the nation deserve APPRECIATION and ENCOURAGEMENT rather than unnecessary RED TAPE and excessive BUREAUCRACY that ultimately punish ordinary workers who have done absolutely NOTHING wrong. If indeed what is being said is the POLICY of the radio station, I am PLEASED to advise that MADZIBABA CHIPAGA of ENTERPRISE CAR SALES is apparently selling a BRAND NEW Toyota Fortuner 2.4D GD6 for ONLY USD100 and a Toyota Aqua for ONLY USD50. He has indicated that this is a SPECIAL PRICE applicable ONLY to these two individuals. I was equally surprised by the PRICE myself, but his response was simply that “NO LAW restricts me from selling my property or assets at ANY PRICE of my choice.” Madzibaba CHIPAGA is truly a GOOD MAN and may GOD bless him abundantly for his GENEROSITY and kind heart. Accordingly, Mr. PHATHISANI SIBANDA and the other employee can CHOOSE, if they so wish and can afford, to go and see the seller DIRECTLY and purchase their vehicles on their own WITHOUT my involvement. With regards to the remaining USD27,000 which I am advised can no longer be distributed in the manner I had instructed, I am sending my lawyer MR SIKHUMBUZO MPOFU today WITHOUT FAIL to collect the money from Mr. COMFORT MBOFANA. After all, he probably needs it MORE than I do and I am sure it can assist significantly with unleaded FUEL for his latest RANGE ROVER AUTOBIOGRAPHY. 😂🤣 May we never reach a stage where expressing GRATITUDE to hardworking Zimbabweans is treated as if it is a CRIME or result in unnecessary work place GRIEVANCES. Rather, let us encourage SUPPORTTING and APPRECIATING those who dedicate their lives towards serving our nation with professionalism and PATRIOTISM #An_Attitude_of_Gratitude #Capitalk_FM #Patriotism

For too long, Africa’s resources have been extracted, the value captured elsewhere, the environmental damage left behind. No more exploitation. No more plundering. The people of Africa must benefit - first & most - from the resources of Africa.

For those CONFUSED… These FARMS were NEVER meant to be taken, it was a mistake that’s being rectified… They were not acquired through COLONISATION, they were PRIVATE INVESTMENTS made after INDEPENDENCE… We know that some will run with the false narratives that land reform is being REVERSED, that’s not true…

Do you realize that some of the biggest companies in Zimbabwe have chosen indigenous names? Not by accident. Not by lack of options. But by design. Look at names like Masawara Holdings, Nyaradzo Group, Mukuru, Simbisa Brands, Padenga Holdings, Masimba Holdings, Zuva Petroleum, Tigere Property Fund, Tanganda Tea Company, Makomo Resources, Chibuku Breweries, and Kuminda Enterprises. These are not small backyard operations. These are institutions. Regional players. Market leaders. Some of them even moved away from more “conventional” English branding over time and leaned into identity. These companies have access to -Branding consultants -Market research -Consumer insight data -Millions of dollars in marketing budgets They don’t just “pick names.” They test them. They validate them. They invest in them. So when they choose indigenous names, it’s not emotional it’s strategic. Yet, at the early stage that’s exactly where most entrepreneurs go in the opposite direction. You will find someone starting a powerful, high-potential business… But when it comes to naming, they default to: “Global sounding” “Corporate sounding” “Safe English names” Almost as if: Local = small English = big But the market leaders are telling us a different story. Names like Mukuru carry authority. Simbisa communicates strength. Nyaradzo evokes trust and emotional connection. Zuva speaks to energy and life. These are not just names. They are meaning systems. They are memory anchors. They are identity. And in a crowded market, identity is everything. Here is the shift we need to make as founders and builders. Don’t ask, “Will people understand my name?” Ask, “Will people remember it?” “Will it mean something?” “Will it carry weight 10 years from now?” Because the truth is this: The companies that win are not always the ones with the most neutral names… They are the ones with the most distinctive and meaningful brands. Maybe it’s time we stopped underestimating our own language. Maybe the next billion-dollar brand doesn’t need to sound like it came from somewhere else. Maybe it needs to sound like home. Moyo musande kwazvo waYesu mutiitiro tsitsi. 🙏

@Unveiled_ChinaX @danzwku ESwatini is is not democratic; it's rather an absolute monarchy, the only one in Africa, you can check again. King Mswati III is dictatorial and corrupt, with much of the kingdom's tiny budget directed towards his lavish spending and maintaing his harem of over a dozen wives.

China blocked the airspace. Germany said no. The Czech Republic said no. Taiwan's president found another way and landed anyway. President Lai Ching-te just arrived in Eswatini, Taiwan's only diplomatic ally in Africa. His greeting: "Sanibonani," the local Swazi word for hello. Simple, human, and pointed. Two weeks ago, this trip was impossible. The Seychelles, Mauritius, and Madagascar revoked overflight permits for Lai's presidential aircraft less than 24 hours before departure, in what Taiwan described as a coordinated act of pressure at China's behest. It marked the first time in history that a Taiwanese president was forced to cancel an entire foreign trip due to airspace denial. Taiwan then made urgent requests to transit through Europe. Germany refused. The Czech Republic refused. So Taiwan found another route. The details have not been fully disclosed. Lai arrived unannounced, posted a photo from the aircraft stairs, and greeted the Swazi people in their own language. Beijing deployed the airspace of three countries to stop a democratic leader from visiting a democratic ally. It pressured two European nations into refusing transit. It failed. Lai is there. Eswatini has held firm as Taiwan's only African partner despite sustained Chinese diplomatic and economic pressure for years. Taiwan has only 12 diplomatic allies left globally. The CCP has spent decades systematically eliminating each one with promises of investment and political pressure. It has not gotten this one yet. "Taiwan will never be deterred by external pressures," Lai wrote. After what it took to get there, those are not empty words. #Taiwan #CCP #China #Eswatini #Lai #Diplomacy #Geopolitics #Airspace #Freedom #TaiwanStrong

Sanibonani! I arrived in #Eswatini today to affirm our longstanding friendship. #Taiwan will never be deterred by external pressures. Our resolve & commitment are underpinned by the understanding that Taiwan will continue to engage with the world—no matter the challenges faced.

@marcus_herve Square me here. The Western media is still reporting that the jihadists overan Kidal and are blockading Bamako. Not that I read much into the highly biased and subjective Western media. France 24 is reporting that the jihadists have called for a 'just and inclusive transition.'

You know how in South Africa when you’re sick but you don’t have medical aid or lots of money, you still have the option of going to a “public” hospital where you may or may not receive very good care, but where millions are still alive because they had this option? Well, there’s this one very wealthy country where they don’t have this. Over there, if you get seriously sick but don’t have lots of money there’s no free “substandard” option. You just have to die and be free. Now, to be fair, in case of emergencies, this country’s hospitals are legally obligated to treat and stabilise you, and can’t simply turn you away, though they really wish they could. In such a case they’ll take care of you, after which you will owe them billions of money and will wish to die and be free. Can you guess which country this is? Hint: It’s not Uganda.
