
I love this emphasis you highlighted for three reasons that jive with my thinking: a) human perspectives are limited and local, b) tradition defines what has worked over time, even if one doesn’t know why or how, c) choice is always the option for humans with the capacity for choice.
My conclusion, after many years of dead ends, was to find out what was and still is the secret sauce of point B, that despite its mysticism has enabled and enriched survival, human survival.
All knowledge that is worthy is also positive. Yes, you avoid dangers, but we don’t live a flourishing life just by avoiding dangers.
