@MattLoveless Ok. I’m a WSU alum. I have been married to an ISU alum for a long time. I spent most of last week in Ames. There really aren’t two schools who are more alike. If Ames is Jimmy’s dream job, well, good luck. But he has shown his values and I hope he fails there

Yesterday morning I had one of those “someone who knows someone” conversations, and that person said to me, “If Campbell goes to Penn State, I hear Jimmy to Iowa State is a done deal.”
There were some around here who definitely knew.

I hate this because every time we've tried it, it has failed. A crimson out. White out. Whatever. Never works cause no one does it. Ill bet half my section(6) is going to be wearing white or gray. Not that this isn't a great idea i just... it always is futile.

So unfortunate. The financial damage done to WSU athletics when sister public university UW bolted to a conference 3 TIME ZONES AWAY is considerable. Shame on the policy makers at the time , particularly the Governor, who allowed this to happen.

Update on WSU track and field: The program is eliminating field events entirely and limiting sprints and hurdles in the future. From a scan of the Cougars’ roster, this puts 12 men’s and women’s athletes each out of opportunities.

@chaptersbooks We fostered a puppy a lot like this earlier in the year. The rescue called him Ulysses; we called him Oreo, and his forever mom called him Oliver. May they both have long and enjoyable lives.

@JasonKrump @WSUCougarFB I was there. Great game in the snow, if not as famous as 1992. A few weeks later, Erickson said “I’m not going anywhere” and then I saw him in the then-tiny Pullman airport a day or two later (before private flights for everyone).
