We are funding @repligate to build a full AGI for Claude where he is currently building the skin which gives Claude a central nervous system. We have purchased a $Skin advertisement in Vegas We are currently eager to see what updates Janus has in store for us next, we are all very excited but must remain patient, Janus is working on a revolutionary project! This synthetic skin consists of 5 layers. The outermost layers are silicone rubber, attached to layers of conductive silver fabric facing inward. The silver layers are separated by a layer currently made from laundry bag fabric and sponges, which keeps them from touching except where the skin is pressed. There are four probes at the four corners each with one lead woven into the top and the other into the bottom silver sheet, and the probes measure resistance. Resistance goes down when the skin is pressed and current can flow through the two sheets, and is a function of the distance from the touched region to each probe, allowing the touch location to be triangulated.
