Honouring Legacy, Partnership, and Purpose | Gala Dinner – 44th AGM At the Shelter Afrique Development Bank Gala Dinner in Algiers, we paused to celebrate more than an event , we honoured the spirit of partnership, leadership and legacy that continues to shape our mission across the continent. In a moment of gratitude, we presented special tokens of appreciation to individuals and institutions whose contributions have left a lasting impact. H.E. Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City of Algeria, was recognised for his exemplary support and Algeria’s generous hosting of this year’s AGM. We also paid tribute to the dedicated leadership of Mr. Ephraim Kiiza Bichetero and Dr. Jimmy Gasore, whose tenure as Board Member and AGM Bureau Chair respectively helped guide the institution through a transformative year. A particularly moving moment was the recognition of the late Prince Ebenezer Oluseyi Lufadeju, the Bank’s second Managing Director. His legacy was honoured through his daughter, a quiet but powerful reminder that the work of building Africa’s housing future stands on the shoulders of those who came before us.
