New approaches and technologies are only good if they benefit patients. Endoscopic Transorbital excision of cavernous sinus meningioma. Quick recovery, excellent access to tumour, complete excision with good operative views. Normal vision and eye movements post op. Histology results on meltdown Monday. All well with plastic eye socket, hopeful all meningioma bone except teensy bit on skull base has been removed during 2nd craniotomy. Proptosis gone. Grateful for NHS, my two favourite surgeons and the team at @SkullBaseLeeds
