Looking at this, it could only make sense the #NJDevils help out the Ducks and send one of our d-men for their wingers they cannot afford after the Leo deal.
Perhaps this is a fall back options to something bigger?

@Garrett_NJD30 With Elliot and Lupita only having like a combined 5 minutes and the movie being a success I’ve seen some flip and say Nolan “owned woke Hollywood” tricking everyone into thinking he was making a “woke” movie but then didn’t.

@weirdo__ripper I’d still really like a different 3C too but I think Hayton was probably the only real option for now. I guess it’s “fine” if Glass can hold up another year and at least you now have ERod backup but I’m thrilled with it. Mercer+ for legit top 6er is like a no brainer.

@weirdo__ripper As the roster is it theoretically “could” be good enough if some things go well. Sunny needs to force Keefe to stop being a bum. Timo needs to not suck. I’d like Grits to get top 6 runway. He has the potential to be a legit top 6er. Glass, Jack, and Mantha manage to stay healthy

@Adumbs_Bananas @weirdo__ripper I have a complete fantasyland scenario. Ducks only have 9 mil. Terry+Poehling for Mercer+Glass+1st. Retain half on both guys. That gives Anaheim ~17.5 mil. Dump Dillon and Noesen off wherever and you’re cap compliant.
Ignore all the reasons Anaheim wouldn’t do this.
