I don’t know if a lot of yall grew up with soaps…But the constant bitching about #BeyondTheGates bring boring…I don’t see it…Yall better be glad the storylines are moving because back in the day it took 1 year to figure out who shot Jr! Be happy! Because negativity can kill it

Just to clarify, the “new season” of #GeneralHospital doesn’t begin until September 2026, based on how television seasons work. In this instance, Frank Valentini is referencing “new season” in the way we all had for decades when it comes to soaps, where we were looking at anniversaries or birthdays since the shows are never off the air with no original episodes in the way “NCIS” or “Law & Order” take time off between their seasons (May-September). In soap speak, #GH just entered its 64th year on the air (April 1, 2027 it turns 64), but it is still on Season 63 per TV standards, having debuted during the 1962-1963 television season. So, Season 64 begins in September 2026. As of April 1, 2026, the show entered its 64th year on television, with its 64th birthday occurring on April 1, 2027. This same method also applies to all the other soaps, btw.

In the past, all the core families had at least 1-2 members working at the hospital & there was ALWAYS a storyline centered in the hospital even w/another storyline going on. #GH

Anita's cancer storyline has me feeling a lot of emotions. Tamara Tunie is doing phenomenal work....but it is so hard watching Anita suffer. The writing is also so, so good. And Iona Morris was the perfect scene partner for her today. #BeyondTheGates #BTG #Gatekeepers
