Started with FWA, where even wrapped CC cards were being deposited on EVM mainnet
Now it's inevitable u have a native SVM big-pool for any solana cards. This is the natural evolution of "repacks", or user created gachas, except u solve (mis)pricing with user deposited backing
(Have not tried nor endorsing this particular one, only commentating on concept)

TCG CARDS ARE LIVE — in partnership with @Beezie real graded slabs (PSA/CGC), tokenized and authenticated by beezie. deposit cards and earn from every pull, or pull for a shot at a grail.

.@ripdotfun has historically had so-so EV, but now they added some rewards 👀
The $55 pro pack for example:
+2% EV base
+4% EV from gems (use for more pulls)
+1% EV from bonus pool (dynamic as cards get pulled!)
=> +7.4% EV // -7.1% GEV

Btw chatted with @plutus_nft about the auctions. Strategy for one-at-a-time is to focus attention, so any specific card can have a better shot at a near FMV sale
It's a nice solution for when a platform doesn't have attention saturation yet

@ihas_can_turn Yes we do rely on platforms to truthfully report their EV, but it is abusable. Will change this to default sort by Gross EV
We would love to have a better "calculated EV" based on 3rd party sources but not all platforms expose all inventory unfortunately

The reason this is problem is that it also default sort modality on SlabsOTC platform.
You guys do great but we should work making this less abusable by platforms like beezie and more transparent. Maybe great to advocate for central source of truth like alt.xyz and have platforms opt-in to provide list and data.

To new people coming to my show. The reason point out price discrepancy is it is very easy way to hide extraction.
Courtyard has done this for years, they purposefully put cards in 5-10% over value. accomplishes two goals,
1) makes machine look more valuable than truth
2) when people look up card value to figure out sellback, they say well... beezie offer pretty good price here on sellback, maybe not worth keeping. Remember if swapvalue = market price, sellback is at 94% market price which is more than you get sell on eBay with 13% fees, so there is nothing to gain keeping card unless your eally want card
This lets beezie keep rinsing you with profit from sellback, and not have to buy more cards. More gambling than collecting...

Gacha design is an emergent field of study, there are a handful of established players but tons of space for experimentation. Highlighting one designer today @ZardCapital - two of their repacks on @phygitals tops the Gross EV board when we assume "Keep Grails". Why? It's because they have only 2 explicit tiers! 1. Common: 90% chance u get 0.5x to 0 2. Mythic: 10% chance you get 2x+ Thus in "Keep Grails" mode, when we assume realizing par value from keeping anything from highest tier, that's basically everything good from these packs. Today @Beezie's gacha packs went live on @solana at 13:00 UTC: $100 and $500 packs, paid in USDC, with promo codes that cut a pack's price. The whole thing runs on-chain, a purchase commits the USDC to the treasury and a separate reveal resolves the draw. Buyers stack packs into single transactions; $1,000 and $1,500 buys are routine. Three hours in: $209,000 across roughly 729 packs from 65 wallets, peaking at $50,300 in the 15 minutes after 13:45. The first two hours did 95% of it. Spend is heavily top-weighted: the top 10 wallets are 81% of revenue, the median wallet is in for $400, and the largest buyer put in $55,000 alone, a quarter of everything sold.
