@Nicholaspkirby The real question is if he gets removed from pitching mid inning, why does he get to stay in the game as DH? There needs to be some risk that the dodgers have using him. All the rules right now benefit the dodgers. There needs to be some balance.

A lot of people dunking on Counsell, but I think this absolutely fair to question. Ohtani has thrown 18 innings, which is more than all but 2 RP in MLB. The extra pitcher makes it so much easier for the Dodgers to manage their RP, options and everything else.

But I can’t get on board saying they’d get no hit 162 times. I think that stance really underestimates the talents of the greatest athletes the country has.

Being an elite football player and hitting in baseball don’t have as many transferable skills as you’d think, golfers might have a better chance honestly

Dude who works nights at the new bodega next door to me has zero clue how much anything costs. So he asks me how much. Then he asks the owner the next day the actual price, then we settle up the difference. It’s like a real life Price is Right and I get so excited when I nail it.
