this. if you’re truly anti-AI that includes character AI, chatGPT, ALL OF IT. character AI steals from fanfiction writers to create the “characters” people talk to. chatGPT steals from writers. none of it is acceptable or okay to use. value writing the same way you do art.

I mean of course we still in an ideal situation have the two or three drinks options on the go at once. Cannot beat a water / coffee / irn bru trio. But if I am thirsty now and I drink another liquid I am still thirsty afterwards until I have had some water

@Slateplays0 i think what made me eye sumeru more was definitely that i found it easy to actually care abt the characters bc this time i truly dgaf😭 can we just go back to fontaine

@starshuhua Literallly like even when I wasn't hyped for sumeru - and like, I don't love all the sumeru designs! - there were characters I was excited for. I didn't like furina's design at first but she was at least intriguing

@Slateplays0 like we got queermeru and fontyuri …. natlan is not giving anything remotely as good !! just because clorivia and haikaveh are peak doesn’t mean everything needs to get worse after that…

@starshuhua Literally all of them would look better if they weren't whitewashed too. Like the designs are just not popping because they look like they were designed for darker skin tones. And their personalities all just seem like revamps of characters we've had before, but less interesting?

@starshuhua But also the fact that she's the ONLY natlan character I've been even vaguely intrigued by is saying something with such a large cast. hyv simply are not cooking with this one

@starshuhua I love the concept of xilonen but literally cannot look at her without feeling like something is off because the darker skinned redesigns I've seen of her look so much better 😭😭

Natlan just has zero spice for me and I tried doing exploration and it felt like pulling teeth 😭
