Was so lucky to be around him as a Razorback player and then have the privilege to call the Hogs with him on the radio. He was patient with me as I learned on the job how to do color but he always was professional while making it fun. What a great guy, God speed Mike!

Mike Nail died last night following a battle with cancer. Mike was the soundtrack for Hog Hoops during that incredible run with Nolan. He was also a great mentor for a young sportscaster. Like all the great play by play guys, he delivered on the big moments. Will miss Mike. Thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We called him Blue because the trainer he replaced was nicknamed Red. Great guy so sorry this has happened. God speed Blue!🙏

To make this clear @HunterYurachek I have been over served when it comes to recognition, but there are guys like Scott Hastings, Ron Brewer Sr, Marvin Delph, Todd Day, Lee Mayberry, Big O ect. that should have something like a jersey with their name & number hanging somewhere.

The Razorbacks lost a very good & very impactful basketball player this week with the passing of Alan Zahn. Alan was on 1977 16-0 SWC Champs and 1978 Final Four team. Played all 4 seasons for Coach Sutton. 6-7 strong athletic tough big shoulders and could hit midrange and rebounded and played good defense Alan was from Albuquerque and was recruited by Gene Keady. He lived in Tulsa working in law enforcement. He passed away in Texas I was fortunate to speak to Dr Counce and Coach Foster and Marvin Delph and US Reed and Trey Trumbo and Randy White about their fond memories of their teammate #20 I love this picture from Barton Coliseum 1977 when Hogs clinched league vs TCU. Alan in between Sidney Moncrief and Houston Nutt. I loved watching those teams when I was a little kid. Great teams
