@OnlyInBOS I’m confused by the use of screens. I’d guess they’d be ripped and pushed out in a week. I could see some sort of fencing but screens? I just can’t picture it.

The MBTA is exploring platform screen doors at stations across the Red, Orange, and Blue Lines.
The barriers would automatically open when trains arrive and could be piloted at select stations to improve rider safety.

@Slatewolf1104 I mean, yes! That’s how you win games! By scoring and preventing runs. Devers will not continue to be exceptionally helpful at scoring runs. A .373 BABIP is unsustainable. He doesn’t do anything to prevent runs. He’s just not worth $30 million.

@Slatewolf1104 Again, I’m not going to agree that he’s a good hitter. He has a .373 BABIP and five home runs this month. If we had him, we wouldn’t have Suarez, or maybe Gray, and we’d be committed to seven more years of this lardass clogging up the DH spot.

I don't want to pile on because I do think Breslow is doing a fine job with what he's been given but refusing to trade Duran and offering Arias but not Mayer for Ketel Marte are two pretty boneheaded mistakes that I feel like ~25/30 other executives would have avoided

@Razorfin_Hunter @RoblerRun It is an effective way to evaluate anything baseball because that’s where the game is actually played. You can’t predict baseball. Stats are important im not denying that, but it’s not the only thing that matters
