Next time you see violent prison videos, ask: Why are these type of videos allowed without censorship, fueling stereotypes & hurting legal fights? Why do platforms amplify this, but censor prisoners fighting for human rights, reforms, abolition, or legal wins?

We face restrictions over state violence or policy failures, limiting our ability to mobilize support or influence. This intentional allowance of prisoner shock videos by platforms suggests a bias that prioritizes this type content over substantive human rights discourse.

Violent prison videos flood social media, amplifying stereotypes and skewing perceptions of imprisoned people. We believe platforms intentionally allow this while censoring posts on Gaza, police violence, prison human rights violations. This double standard fuels harm for likes

CIA agenda >The Foundational Blk Americans framework appears to function as a strategic cultural intervention, weaponized identity politics that obscure transnational solidarity. When anti Blackness is rebranded as nativism, we must interrogate whose interests are being served.

Do you think Jon Jones really "quit" to avoid fighting Tom Aspinall when he announced his retirement?

Tupac was a performer through and through. At his core, he was an actor, a poet, and a thinker—not a gangster. Sure, he rapped about the streets and the struggles that came with them, but that was more about telling the stories of the people around him than living that life himself. He had the smarts and the charisma to pull people in, whether it was on stage, on screen, or in his music. He trained at the Baltimore School for the Arts, where he honed his craft, showing he was born to entertain. The "gangster" image? That was more about the industry and the media pushing a narrative than who Tupac really was at heart. Tupac was an artist first, using his voice and talent to speak for the people, share their pain, and make you feel something. He wasn’t about the gangster life—he was about the art and the message.

Although some have said these are not protests, we absolutely see these as protests because they are demanding usually to be transferred for the self mutil@tion to stop. Admittedly, most observing prisoners do not like these kinds of 🔥 protests when locked behind max cell doors

This month, men in VA State Prison self-immolated. This isn't isolated. Prisoners in EVERY STATE, incl. SC, where one person died [while laughing pigs watched], have resorted to self 🔥 due to desperately trying to be moved. The most common you hear of is self-harm cutting.

@nlanc ** About time: In prison, our time is perceived differently than those of you in society. In here, September is like a few short weeks ago. Note: September doesn't minimize the raging energy right now in that prison block. Why? Because the circumstances are the same

@SlaveryPrison This is unbearable. (To be true to the history of these events and of resistance at Red Onion: the immolations were only recently reported, but as having happened in September.)

@nlanc Thank you for the correction on the dates. Im just getting updated on it. But on the other hand as a prisoner i already know that on max self mutilation is regularly ongoing. I'm sure their still setting fires. It's the end product of our circumstances
