Colin Kaepernick went out of his way to find the most acceptable form of anti-racism statement he could, getting advice from a Green Beret as he didn't want to offend anyone. It didn't matter. People don't have a problem with taking the knee, they have a problem with anti-racism

I understand why people feel the need to mention all the things that Rashford, Sancho & Saka have done off the field but it’s completely unnecessary. Basic respect and no racism should never be conditional.

The vitriol, abuse, and racist comments that have been levelled at Saka and Rashford is shameful and embarrassing. These boys have more talent, grace and humility than any of the poor excuse for men who have sent them abuse. And the UK “isn’t racist” next joke, please.
