"Well, if you want, how could I say no?" He chuckled and nodded, as he stuck his hands into his pockets. "Alright, we'll get your sister and Joy, then go get shakes."

He returned her smile. "Milkshakes? I mean you don't have to celebrate my birthday, I'm a vampire. I don't get older." He shrugged but he smiled at her again. "But if you want we can, maybe we can bring Buffy and Joy along too. Make it a family thing."

He jumps a little but he smiles at Dawn before pulling her into a hug, ruffling her hair. "Thanks, Dawnie. Appreciate it."

It's his birthday today. Vampires don't celebrate them usually but Angel isn't like most vampires.

"No, then who else will I bother about my 'teenage drama'?"

" well hey , i'm no stranger to bein' blown off . and i got nothing better to do , if you wanna hang , thats cool . if you don't still hate me for the whole tried to kill your sister thing . " when dawn chuckles , faith does too .

" you're talkin' to the right person . what happened ? do i need to hurt someone ? i'm pretty good at that . " she says it mostly to get dawn to smile , but she's not above it , enacting some slayer justice.
