Competitive system in Mtg looked good in theory, but it's losing its appeal There are so many RCQs that they've lost value, and the RC no longer feels exclusive It's a GP every few months, not a special event. Simple fix: limit RCQs to one per store. Make qualifying matters again

Anyone can win any small event, having the qualification rest on whether you won a single glorified FNM is silly. There's no reward for consistent performance. Reducing the number of chances just makes it more miserable.
