@StygianAdara @GOREJ1RA I don't disagree with your first point, but if you go at it from that angle, then the issue becomes defining what horror is, and how you disqualify Vader from that bracket. Having identity is important, but gatekeeping said identity based upon false pretense is harmful.

@Slendy4DbD @GOREJ1RA No, what is SCARY is subjective. Horror is a genre that is pretty damn obvious. Things can be scary and not be horror and vice versa. It's also not remotely a "meaningless limitation". Having an identity for the game is extremely important, and muddying that is harmful to it.

Now that Springtrap is in DBD and Jason is probably the next killer, which ip is the new FNAF? As in highly requested by the fanbase yet unlikely to happen... Probably Slenderman or Pennywise I'd say. Thoughts?

@StygianAdara @GOREJ1RA It's a meaningless limitation that does nothing good for the game. Horror is also subjective, as many would consider Vader more intimidating than The Wraith. Such arbitrary restrictions based on pretense are just harmful, especially when said pretense is already compromised.

@Slendy4DbD @GOREJ1RA The game is CENTERED around horror and it's tropes, and adding things that aren't horror gradually loosens the meaning of all of it. Cosmetics I could care less about, but full chapters is insanity.

First off - there's an odd inconsistency with this killer's gender. Why does the key art depict a male, while everything up until this point has been female? Also, why are we choosing the menu music? April is already decent at that - he needs help with the CHASE music. Sigh.
