Many devs are optimizing web2 players while selling assets on web3 and destroying collectors. Two examples that have bothered me Runiverse giving a free mount at level 5. Kuroro Wilds giving rare assets for free in their playtest. I understand what they are doing but you simply have to gamify it more for web2. Yes give a free mount but maybe make it destructible? Yes give a rare kuroros in wilds but maybe make it permanent death or make web2 spend potions to revive it? They are destroying our assets. So far Axie has done it the best, you can have rare collectibles for 10K and breed infinite incredible non rare collectibles axies that go for $1-$3 in the market.

I feel the same sometimes, so much work, no pay-off yet. Over 4000 commits this year, and nothing properly launched or succeeded. However, you are obviously using AI to code, so that is the start :) Likely a combination of researching marketing/Start-up advice (Y Combinator Youtubes, and others--ask AI). The thing is, use AI to help you. I use Deep research to help with coding topics, planning, advice. Here is an example (copy pasted the response to remove some private info): chatgpt.com/canvas/shared/… (FYI, I gave it some books in the prompt like Deep work, Do the Work, Make work visible, Essentialism etc). You can use AI to give you info for a secondary deep research prompt for example. Think about it, we have access to a genius in all topics, and while it's still easier said than done, I think it's possible for us to succeed if we use AI to it's full potential, plan out, stay focused, and execute. 🫡 Even if everything we do has a 10% chance to succeed, it is only a matter of time if we keep shipping, but plenty we can do to increase the chance ,and speed at which we have another chance.
