A caller argued ….”I’ve been in construction for 15 years and we’ve been painting our pavers” True. But when Kiwi made shoe polish they didn’t intend for people to use it as make up and yet for a while black people did 🙈

@feziledhlamini_ So if Eskom has a surplus of electricity, can't they supply that to City Power because there are people who experience load reduction every 2 weeks or so?

Hello My dear brother @dansmywholename. I wanted to flag an underreported but highly important case set down for hearing at the Gauteng High Court from 4–8 May. Tomorrow.. Major commercial law firms - Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF), Bowmans, Webber Wentzel, and Werksmans + Solidarity are challenging the Legal Sector Code. On the opposing side are key legal institutions, including the General Council of Advocates Bar of SA, PABASA, LPC and transformation bodies such as the Black Conveyancers Association Basadi ba Molao South African Women Lawyers Association At stake is more than the legal profession. This case goes to the heart of: whether sector-specific transformation codes can deviate from generic B-BBEE frameworks. How transformation is measured - inputs vs outcomes and whether enforcement mechanisms in high-value professions are lawful and workable The judgment could have implications far beyond the legal sector, potentially shaping how transformation is approached in other industries. Given the calibre of legal teams involved and the policy implications, it is surprising how little public attention this matter has received. I thought being a member of the legal sector, I can bring it to your attention Kindest PK

Yup. I didn’t need an alarm coz it would go off everyday without fail 🤣. Sometimes we’d even have community members wait with us at the bus stop as extra safety. What a great community Rockville was, and still is ❤️
Mina Mseluf'@SlimKagey

@ansarlets The Vuvuzela alarm is at least 20 years old. I would hear it around 04:30-06:00 everyday from Mon-Fri at Rockville, Soweto.

Wait...what! I've been unemployed since 2018 and I am struggling. I've been told I do not qualify for an unemployment grant yet foreigners have been getting SASSA. I've paid my taxes since the age of 18 till the age of 52 when I lost my job. I am livid.

Stayed at my cousins in Soweto DK last for a while. Around 4am I heard vuvuzelas going off. I later asked what's going on and was told it's the neighborhood watch alerting the public it's safe to make their way. Our people are not lazy

I slept over at my cousin's place(at the hood) bc he advised me not to drive back so late last night. He stays on the main road. By 4:30 AM, I was woken up by the sound of taxi's hooting & people commuting to work. Man, you can't tell me that black South Africans are "lazy."

@ansarlets I suppose it is a Soweto thing because I have never heard of anyone talking about it in Ekurhuleni.

Massive bombshell. Former US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene explicitly confirms Donald Trump was forced to make a secret deal with the Zionist lobby to become president. She exposes how the Trump administration is completely held captive by Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel.
