Yet another injury for Joel Embiid heading into the playoffs. Appendicitis surgery. Two years ago against the New York Knicks. He was coming off the torn meniscus and re-aggravated it, needing to wear a brace on the knee. He had Bell’s palsy. In years past he had another torn meniscus and a sprained knee, And an orbital fracture. He just can’t catch a break. The Sixers could be in the play in tournament starting Tuesday. NFL concluded today that Chiefs WR Rashee Rice “has not engaged in conduct that violates the personal conduct policy” and the investigation into accusations from his former girlfriend is now closed; there will be no discipline at this time. Statement from his attorney Sean Lindsey: “Mr. Rice wants to thank the NFL for their thorough investigation, and looks forward to the start of the 2026-27 NFL season.”

The Chiefs could move back 2-6 spots and acquire an extra late 2nd or early 3rd, then pick up a guy like Lemon, Tyson, or Sadiq.
