Stefanos Tsitsipas on Goran Ivanisevic calling him the most ‘poorly prepared player’ he’d ever seen & claiming that he was in 3 times better shape than him “I didn’t see any point in it. If it was a way of him pushing me into working harder and getting my shit together, it was definitely not the right tactic. I was really hurt. “I never expected that a coach could do that to me, and the worst thing is what he said was not true. I was not fit because I had been injured. I hadn’t been practicing properly for over two weeks. It was like he kicked me when I was already down.” Source: thetimes.com/sport/tennis/a…

DRAW IS OUT in Monte-Carlo. A first ever Alcaraz-Wawrinka match is possible if Stan d. Baez in R1. Musetti and De Minaur on Alcaraz’s half. Medvedev, Rublev, Auger-Aliassime, Zverev, Tsitsipas/Cerundolo and Ruud with Sinner

If you dropped 2017 Roger Federer into the ATP Tour right now, how do you reckon he'd do? 🤔 For me, it's actually one of my favourite versions of Federer but I don't reckon he'd be winning majors. Probably top 5 though!

@Ubitennis What a ground breaking statement... Sarcasm! Btw in tennis consistency over time pays off. Novak is a great example. If Sinner stays healthy, he certainly can end up achieving more.

@audiolympics @kela9123 Sampras was the next level and retired as the slam leader of his generation. To say he needed to "improve" his backhand to hit next level seems silly as he was it. His BH was exactly what he needed to execute his aggressive style of play.

@AlemTenis Btw for those saying Cincinnati... It would be a travesty since it is the oldest tournament in the USA still played on its original city. Also it has great attendance since the Midwest in America loves tennis.

@realdevdp_ If Fed had been favored we would have more grass court tournaments... Also you overlooked that Fed played really well on clay, where he would only lose deep in the tournaments likely to a guy named Rafa & another named Novak. Also Novak has won plenty of clay so why mention him?

Its funny how people say Nadal should’ve adapted his game to win more outside of clay when that same argument could be used for Djokovic and Federer outside of fast courts. The only difference is that they had more tournaments on the tour calendar that naturally suited their game

@jmgmoron Roger, Rafa, and Novak 3 of the greatest ever and all have been spotted doing the same. At the USOpen Roger was seen cleaning multiple practice courts that other players had left littered. Carlos is keeping the humble/respect tradition. 👏

@Brnas05576799 @SEEWIRE @BarclayCard18 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think you’re projecting… To say that Fonseca has no top tier potential is to disagree with pretty much every player & tennis expert out there. But whatever, you are the only one who understands the sport. Feel free to point out the flaws on his FH, BH, Volley, Serve, etc.

With every passing Sinner match at Masters level, Fonseca holding those 3 set points in Indian Wells looks more and more incredible tbh. Played so well, super motivated by the match, right on the brink, but Sinner STILL took the set.

@BarclayCard18 Yep, that match is the only one where I felt Sinner was actually concerned. But he was able to figure out how to get out of the jam per usual... Excited to see if the trend with Sinner will continue on the red clay.
