P. Magyar plánuje v lete navštíviť južné Slovensko. Víťaz maďarských volieb včera v Budapešti prijal predsedu Maďarskej aliancie L. Gubíka. “S radosťou som prijal pozvanie pána predsedu. Dúfam, že ešte počas leta navštívim našich maďarských bratov na Felvidéku,” napísal P. Magyar

Andrej, toto tvoje trápne PR video neoklame nikoho. Skutočný národniar by sa zastal 🇸🇰 tam, kde ich práva potláčajú. Kým ty si v Budapešti robíš selfíčka a klaniaš sa politikom, ktorí snívajú o Veľkom Maďarsku, Slováci v Mlynkoch a vo Vojvodine potichu prichádzajú o identitu a školy. x.com/SlovakiaBased/…

Flashback 2009: When a Hungarian President ignored our sovereignty, he got a one-way ticket back at the bridge. 🇸🇰📷 Take note @magyar_peter. Respect our laws or it will be "One time, next time" for you too. 🛡️ #Slovakia #Sovereignty #OneTimeNextTime

Magyar Péter (Ne féljetek)@magyarpeterMP

I held a personal meeting in my office with László Gubík, President of the Hungarian Alliance — the organisation representing the Hungarian minority in Slovakia. I informed him of the details of my phone call with Slovak Prime Minister @RobertFicoSVK. I emphasised that the TISZA government is committed to supporting the Hungarian minority in Slovakia. We consider it unacceptable that Slovak law threatens with imprisonment those who criticise the Beneš Decrees and runs counter to fundamental EU values. We also reject the confiscation, without compensation, of land belonging to Slovak citizens of Hungarian origin. I stressed that, under a TISZA government, acquired rights will be preserved, and that protecting the interests of the Hungarian minority will remain at the centre of efforts to further strengthen Hungarian–Slovak relations. At the same time, I made it clear to the President that we expect fundamental changes in the transparency and efficiency of the use of funds from Hungary, and that we will not tolerate Slovak–Hungarian media outlets financed by Hungarian state support spreading Fidesz propaganda. I also told the President that a TISZA government will launch a review of the use of Hungarian state support over the past ten years. I gladly accepted the President’s invitation. I hope to visit our Hungarian brothers and sisters in Felvidék later this summer.

German origin is a non-issue. What’s actually tragic is your identity, which is built entirely on Slavic foundations. Do you really think names like Balaton 🌊Blatno Visegrád 🏰Vyšehrad Nógrád 🏰Novohrad Pest 🔥Pec just fell from the sky in the Mongolian steppes?

What, did you burn the history books in Hungary? Parkan has a 🇩🇪 origin. It was originally Kakat / Kokot / Kohút 🐓(meaning Rooster)—just look at the coat of arms of the city of Štúrovo. It’s the same case with Prešporok—derived from 🇩🇪 Pressburg, which comes from the name Braslav (recorded in Latin as Brezalauspurc)

@_DRF96 @Hootcel After WWI began, Masaryk knew independence was the only way. By 1915, his map was drawn. While Štefánik opened doors and Beneš led the diplomacy, it was the bayonets ⚔️of the Czechoslovak Legions that secured Slovakia's southern borders. 🇨🇿 🇸🇰 #History #Czechoslovakia

why do i have to register
@Hootcel This framing of the question still doesn't account for questions like "did Slovakians actually desire to secede from Hungary?" or even better "did Slovakians actually want to form a state with the Czechs?"

@visegrad24 Even Sweden has had enough. 🇸🇪 They are officially ditching "Islamophobia" in favor of "anti-Muslim racism" to protect freedom of speech and the right to criticize religion. They want the rest of the EU to follow. Common sense is becoming "based" again. 👊

🇸🇪 Sweden’s Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard has announced that the government is scrapping the term “Islamophobia.” The foreign minister says the term is problematic, as it risks being confused with criticism of religion. Instead, the government will use the term “anti-Muslim racism.” Stenergard also announced that the government will work to eliminate the term “Islamophobia” in international contexts as well. “It is easiest for us to do this if we first gather the EU behind a revised terminology, and therefore we are pushing for the term ‘Islamophobia’ to be replaced with what in English is called ‘anti-Muslim racism’ or ‘anti-Muslim hatred,’” she said. Charlie Weimers, a member of the Sweden Democrats, commented on the decision, stating: “The government is FINALLY scrapping the made-up concept of ‘Islamophobia’ and pushing for the EU and UN to do the same. My report ‘Unmasking the Muslim Brotherhood’ shows exactly how Islamists exploit ‘Islamophobia’ to advance their agenda and secure EU funding.”

@the_rogue_forge @magyar_peter True, they changed—we actually expanded them. In 1947, added Rusovce, Jarovce, and Čunovo to our territory to secure the Bratislava bridgehead. So if it was a pencil, it only drew a firmer and larger line for Slovakia. 🇸🇰

@ShaqAram Originally, Great Rye Island (Csallóköz) wasn't planned for Czechoslovakia—the border was meant to be the Little Danube. Because of Béla Kun and Hungarian Bolshevik aggression, the borders shifted. In the end, the Czechoslovak Legionnaires fixed the borders with their bayonets ⚔️

Because it was not along ethnic lines. One underdiscussed fact about Trianon is that the bordering region had 2 million magyars. Ethnically Hungarian and culturally important town like Kassa, Nagyvárad, Arad, Szabadka, Szatmárnémeti, but areas like Csallóköz was a big loss

Another example of revanchism I can't understand is Trianon. If we look at ethnic map of Austro-Hungary we can see that Hungary with minor exceptions was basically divided by ethnic borders. I genuinely can't understand why do Hungarians treat it like some sort of genocide

@Rx410 After more than 100 years, we can say that Hungarians gained a pure nation-state and, with it, international recognition of their sovereignty.

@grok What are the odds (in %) of Slovakia having a mosque, recognizing Islam as an official religion, or introducing Islamic education in schools? Considering the legislation, public opinion, and political climate, would you say the chance is zero? Please provide a brief explanation.

Some Christian children from a primary school in Milan were taken to Saronno Mosque to learn about Islam. This is Giorgia Meloni's Italy.
