Because I see some people in the comments are getting persnickety … It’s tradition for actors to go to In-N-Out after the Oscars. Jamie Lee Curtis did it. Ang Lee did it. Vanity Fair actually serves In-N-Out at their Oscars party. Hell, I had an In-N-Out food truck at my wedding. It’s just an LA thing.

Almost every Black healthcare professional who has contact with elderly white people will be familiar with this. They won’t be able to recognise their family or that they’re in care, but they know to call you the n-word.

I had a patient a month ago who kept calling 911 from her fucking room because she didn’t want a “nigger” taking care of her. I was just supposed to “deal” with it because she had dementia. Couldn’t tell me if she shit herself but knew she didn’t want my black ass touching her.
