hypothesis from 2017 to 2023 crypto was largely pve, where p was vc insiders and e was retail with the proliferation of meme coins the market is starting to bifurcate. vcs r incapable of playing the meme coin market due to their mandate, while retail don’t want to play the “serious coin” market because its too intimidating so the market bifurcates in such a way that vcs end up dark foresting each other in the serious coins while retail only play the meme coin game obv the bifurcation is not actually black n white, not instantaneous, but it’s gradually taking place
