So this finally happened. My Masters in Journalism. Unlike the previous one, this was surprisingly tough. I’ve been leading newsrooms for many years. Two decades now. To be coached and corrected on theory and frameworks was a humbling experience, but I had an expert supervisor. Infact, the entire staff at Stellenbosch Journalism are the best academics I’ve come across. Excellent academics, good at what they do while being human and understanding. My mom in law was very sick and I looked after her until she passed;while writing my thesis,chasing very busy journalists, being a mom, wife, daughter and sister. My father was also hospitalised, twice. I’m truly blessed he was able to travel to see me graduate. I’m grateful. Now I can focus on what matters. The future of excellent and fair journalism. Onwards and upwards.❤️

@BuhleTheFirst @ishtCrayCray A lot of us get married for the wrong reasons🤞🏽🤞🏽Bobe and I dated in 97, got married in '08 and I am crazy in love. Don't get me wrong, kuna ma-high and lows, but we always choose each other. No one, I mean not relatives or even our kids will get between us.
