@SmallCharity1 Absolutely, that's why they do ever so well when it comes to fundraising - ie NHS Charities did well during the pandemic because folk wanted to support the NHS (which obvs isn't even a charity). Thats why we need to support marketing and 'brand awareness' with smaller charities

@Sortified Dont Disagree, but most people when put on the spot to name a charity will name something like OXFAM or Cancer Research rather than the local one that they may use

This is interesting. From our experience (although not empirically tested) some small charities in smaller places (market towns etc) actually have incredible presence, following and reach. This can be built on and used to support funding and income

Most of the public are unable to name small charities although they are more likely to use services from them.

@Hargraver A really interesting piece of work of course how it afects small charities will be very differant even to thse with an income over 100K
