Small Church YP

I have now gotten so low in life economically that I am driving cars discarded by teenagers.

I have no definitive proof, but it sure seems as if small churches are shrinking and big churches are flourishing. #PastorPains

Visiting with friends last night. He pointed out no kids EVER outside anymore, told me he has the solution. Proceed to pile trash in back yard, dowse it with gasoline and light it on fire with a firecracker. Yard filled with youth very quickly! #MinistryIdea?

@VolunteerYP I think there is truth to this. Ironically, even if you're poor from serving in ministry.

I was looking forward to the age when I could tell a female that she's pretty in a grandfather-type of way. Culture shifting, not happening.

When a Christian woman asks "does this outfit look alright?" She often means "does this outfit make me look hot but not slutty?"

@wendywolle That's way better than most, but it still is problematic for women's and men's groups and things of that nature.

@VolunteerYP It is sad thinking about this and I'm called to work with students, yet it would help greatly with my challenging memory.

Rain is truly a blessing, but it sure doesn't always feel like it!

Physical exhaustion level is twice as high when you know your not meeting someone's expectations. 5X higher when that person is your wife!

The world is cold and dreary, but our house is warm and cheery. (And the amount of effort to keeping this way feels immense with wood heat)

Saturday is the one day a week that I get to sleep in…well, occasionally. Except youth activities that happen 5 out of of every 6 weeks.
