Got access to a building today in Nottingham city centre that has been derelict for 30 years. The plans for this are amazing and it’s gorgeous to see it being brought back to life. THIS is what you can do with old empty properties that isn’t just building hotels or student flats

@GeoffBuysCars @LEGOLANDWindsor Yes, we went on Tuesday. My son is 4 and absolutely adored Miniland, which saved the day, but the queues were absolutely horrendous. Clearly not enough staff, loads of concessions closed - seemed so far from the experience you'd expect at a theme park.

Looks to me like greed has gotten to @LEGOLANDWindsor. Anyone else been this week and found it an utter joke? Over sold, understaffed. Painfully busy, even just for getting around. A joke of a day. Complaint incoming. #LegoLand

@shoggypops @SpotifyCares I've got no idea how they're selecting songs these days - we used to have a group doing it but we've stopped as so many days all of us were 'I've never heard this before'. Weirdly the 80s/90s/2000s ones are all very playable.

@LeModulicious @Heardle_app @Spotify I have no idea. They seem to have entirely missed the point that it's songs people know and try to guess from snippets of the intro - not trying to introduce us to new stuff from a playlist. So many song selections didn't even chart.

Are people supposed to know the songs that @Heardle_app @Spotify have been choosing lately? I think the game would be more fun if y’all stuck to the biggest hits from the decades.

Setting up on the Friday was a bit of a nightmare - working in a marquee during heavy rain and wind meant we were quite delayed with preparing the venue - I kept on thinking about Fyre Festival and their storm the night before!

So we made queer prom happen. Sold out our venue, made sure people had a great time, had a dance, raised some money for charity.

I don't post that much these days but I want to share a minor win - I've been part of a team putting together a 'Second Chance Prom' for queer folk in Nottingham, and today we sold out. I've been so pleased with the response of the community and support we've had.

@ChrisSomeone Aaah thank you! Yeah, it really seems to have caught people's imaginations. I was on BBC Radio Nottingham this morning talking about it, and the presenter seemed to be enthusiastic!

@BinkTheMagician @Spotify Yes, it's not enjoyable currently. So many tracks that neither of us have ever heard and charted really low - surely things people might remember are the point.

Aah, I see #Heardle is back on the nonsense today. Genuinely never heard of this song or artist again - this song charted at 31 in the UK (I know the charts aren't the be all and end all but they're a reasonable indication of how well known a song is)

There was a group of us who used to play and compare scores, after the switch there was a lot of 'no idea' and 'never heard it'. That interaction has kinda gone, as it seems a bit pointless when you only get one correct song every few days.

The hook of doing #Heardle was the joy of working out the song, especially if you recognised the chords/intro but just needed a vocal.. and had that 'eureka' moment. That doesn't really happen when so many songs used are completely unknown.

I think today's #Heardle is just the latest drop in a long slide towards the bin, since @Spotify took over it's been less fun. There's been so many very obscure choices - lots of things that never charted or got much radio airplay - niche music doesn't really work.

@c_alcx I would be really put off if one of my customers was filming me whilst I were working.
