初めて日本語でTwitterした時、「どうすればいいか」と不安になりましたが、翻訳機能を使って色々な日本の方と交流しました。 確かに、漢字や文法などが分からなかったので、間違うも沢山ありましたが、諦めなくてずっと勉強した結果。 初めて日本語能力試験に合格することが出来ました。

@mato_fuyu It certainly looks right. It’s also one of those words where if you see it written down you can tell if someone is from the UK or the US. As here in the UK it’s generally spelled honour.

Some ppl said that it'd be an honor, and that's when I learnt "honor" meant 「光栄」 (kōei) in Jp! Is it correct?

@ericoach1 The nice thing is I think this is fairly global. When I go to Japan with my pretty average Japanese, everyone tries really hard to make it work. Usually If I am not somewhere like Tokyo they tend to be excited and happy to see me use it.
