@FCPS1News This is getting a bit out of control at this point. No new snow in the last 60hrs by morning and roads plowed. When June rolls around and the district wants to extend the school year to recoup the lost funding for missed days in class that will be a hard pass.

Due to secondary road conditions and overnight icing concerns, all Fauquier County Public Schools will remain closed on Thursday, January 9. Essential personnel are expected to report at 8 a.m. and administrative offices will open at 10 a.m. All school activities are canceled.
